Dr. Amy Petersen

Dr. Amy Petersen has been a Pediatrician in the Des Moines area since 2009.  She knew she wanted to be a pediatrician ever since she was a young child.  Her passion for pediatrics comes from the amazing resiliency of children, their ability to overcome obstacles and find joy in the simplest areas of life. She values the opportunity to get to know families and build lasting connections with them.

When Dr. Petersen is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, running outdoors as well as supporting her community.

Sherri Chrisman-Batterson

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Sherri Chrisman-Batterson has been serving the Des Moines Metro as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years.  She sees patients for both well and sick visits from birth to young adults.  As an experienced pediatric care provider and mother of five, she understands the challenges of keeping kids healthy and happy.  She feels strongly that building long term, trusting relationships with families is essential to providing the best health care.

Sherri lives in Johnston with her husband and two youngest daughters. In her free time she spends time with all of her children and beautiful granddaughter.  She also enjoys biking, playing violin and piano and researching her family genealogy.
